The Microsoft EPIC “Tech Rally” is a two-hour STEM enrichment session that provides a fast-paced overview of the exciting next-generation opportunities in higher education, industry, and research.

University faculty, Microsoft staff, and industry experts introduce students to future opportunities in digital technology and outline next steps for success in higher education and next generation careers in cutting-edge technology fields.

"AI & Engineering Design" At-Home Session & Resources

For those students interested in a deeper dive, we will offer a series of rigorous academic sessions focused on topics such as Augmented/Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Drones & Autonomous Systems, and eSports/Gaming.

In the following Microsoft EPIC online session, Dr. Cesare Wright introduces students to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Human-centered Engineering Design.  Once familiar with the basics of AI, students are challenged to apply what they’ve learned to solving real-world problems.

We welcome parents and teachers to use this content and follow along with the design thinking and technical exercises (links below).
